The Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro have officially been launched on the global stage, and if you’re keen on getting one of their new smartphones then you’re in luck as you won’t have to wait long.
Xiaomi Malaysia will be opening up pre-orders for the Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro from 26 September, 10pm onwards till 6 October with the two devices available from their official store on Shopee and Lazada as well as authorised Xiaomi stores nationwide. Here’s how much they’ll cost you:
- Xiaomi 13T, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage – RM1,799
- Xiaomi 13T, 12GB RAM, 256GB storage – RM1,999
- Xiaomi 13T Pro, 12GB RAM, 256GB storage – RM2,499
- Xiaomi 13T Pro, 12GB RAM, 512GB storage – RM2,699
- Xiaomi 13T Pro, 16GB RAM, 1TB storage – RM3,499
It’s also perhaps worth pointing out that if you want to get the base model for both the Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T Pro, they will only be available exclusively on the official Xiaomi store on Shopee and Lazada. The two base models will also get a RM100 discount during the pre-order period, meaning here’s how much they’ll cost:
- Xiaomi 13T, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage –
RM1,799RM1,699 - Xiaomi 13T Pro, 12GB RAM, 256GB storage –
RM2,499RM2,399
On top of that, all pre-orders of the Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T Pro will come with a free Xiaomi Smart Band 8 worth RM199. This is in addition to a photography gift box worth RM299 for in store pre-orders, while those of who you pre-order a Xiaomi 13T series device from their online platforms will get a free pair of Redmi Buds 4 Pro instead.
Even if you miss out on the pre-order promotion, all orders of the Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T Pro will still come with a free screen replacement within six months of purchase worth RM299, a free year of extended warranty and 100GB of Google One cloud storage for six months.
At these price tags, the Xiaomi 13T and the Xiaomi 13T Pro are actually cheaper than what the Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro retailed for last year. The Xiaomi 12T debuted for RM1,999 while the Xiaomi 12T Pro retailed from RM2,699 onwards, RM200 more than what their successors are starting at. This is despite the Xiaomi 13T series having a number of updates over its predecessor, namely an IP68 dust and water resistance rating, Leica-tuned cameras and longer guaranteed software updates.
