Samsung Malaysia is heading to Penang this weekend to set up its Flip Town popup event, where the public can check out the latest foldable in town – the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 for themselves.

Flip Town is where Samsung is showing off their latest foldable, the Galaxy Flip 5 – and the first stop is Hin Bus Station, Penang. What’s new with the Flip Town event is the Flex360 Bus.

The bus features an open top deck – called the Chill Lounge – where visitors can head up and capture selfies with families and friends. There is also the giant Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Space Astronaut for people to take photos with. There is also the Flex360 photobooth for photos and selfies galore.

Multiple event spaces are also happening in the Flip Town popup event, including a Flip Town Mural space showcasing local artists (Support Malaysians artists!), along with workshops like phone strap beading, video editing with LumaFusion and collaboration merchandise showcase.

Visitors will need to register and get their Mission Card. Stamps can be collected at each event station and visitors can redeem freebies – exclusive brand collaboration merchandise from Chuck’s, Dmeow, Pestle & Mortar Clothing and Nazifi Nasri.

Galaxy Z Flip 5 owners meanwhile get a special bonus – they can redeem a special phone case from the event – for a limited time only and while stocks last.

After Penang, they are heading down south until early October.  The schedule of Flip Town is as follows:

Penang

Date: 15 – 17 September 2023
Time: 10am – 5pm
Location: Hin Bus Depot, Penang

Malacca

Date: 22 – 24 September 2023
