Malaysian youths and eligible full-time students can claim their eBeliaRahmah credit starting yesterday 26th June. Among the three supported eWallet players, Touch ‘n Go eWallet appears to be the most popular option as over 1 million youths have redeemed their RM200 eWallet credit on its platform just 12 hours after the redemption went live at 8am yesterday.
Eligible youths who have yet to claim are still able to do so by 22nd August 2023. The RM200 credit must be spent by 31st August 2023. As mentioned before, the RM200 eWallet credit is meant for offline transactions only and you can’t transfer the credit to other eWallet or perform in-app bill and game payments, parking and toll payments.
Besides the RM200 eWallet credit, the 3 eWallet providers which also include Setel and Boost are also throwing extra rewards in the form of cashback and vouchers. On Touch ‘n Go eWallet, they are offering additional free vouchers worth up to RM500 which include discounts and cashback at various participating outlets. This include RM70 cashback voucher for Maxis, RM8 cashback voucher at Kenny Rogers Roasters, RM8 off for TGVCinemas, RM6 cashback voucher for 7-Eleven, RM5 cashback voucher for Zus, RM4 off for Starbucks and 15% off at McDonald’s.
