If you missed the earlier promo for the Huawei MateBook 14 with a touchscreen display, Huawei Malaysia is now offering a much more significant RM1,000 discount for a limited time. This is probably one of the best value-for-money touch screen laptops at the moment which comes with an Intel Core i5 processor, 16GB RAM and 512GB of storage for less than RM3,000.
The Huawei MateBook 14 touchscreen laptop with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage retails for RM3,999 but it is offered for only RM2,999 starting tomorrow, 18th March until 21st March 2023 via the official Huawei store on Lazada Malaysia. On top of that, Huawei Malaysia is offering additional freebies worth RM697 which include a Huawei CD60 Backpack, Huawei CD20 Bluetooth Mouse and two years warranty.
To recap on the specs, this MateBook 14 features a 14″ 2K (2160×1440) 3:2 IPS display with a high precision multi-touch screen and it runs on an 11th gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor. As you can tell from the processor, this laptop is already two generations old as it was first announced in 2021. The specific model on offer has 16GB of dual-channel RAM and 512GB NVMe PCIe SSD.
The laptop has a hidden pop-up 720p HD camera on the top row of the keyboard as well as a fingerprint sensor that’s embedded into the power button. It supports 802.11ax WiFi 6 with 2×2 MIMO antenna and Bluetooth 5.1. In terms of ports, it has two full-sized USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, a HDMI output, 3.5mm audio jack and a USB-C port that’s used for charging. The MateBook 14 comes with a 56Wh battery that’s rated to last up to 11 hours of Full HD video playback. Also included is a 65W USB-C PD charger that claims to push 2.5 hours of battery life with a quick 15-minute charge. Overall it weighs 1.49kg and is 15.9mm thick.
