Welcome back to another episode of Ask Us Anything, where we gather your questions from the internet and answer them. In today’s episode, we will find out if there are any USB PD chargers that can charge two laptops simultaneously, how to transfer WhatsApp messages from iOS to Android and cheap wireless mics for smartphones.
Any cheap wireless mics for smartphones?
The Foto 2 in 1 wireless lavalier microphone is one of many affordable wireless mics you can get for a smartphone. It comes with either a USB C port for Android smartphones or a Lightning port for iPhones. You also can opt for a single mic or two mics.
That said, wireless audio quality at this price can be questionable.
Any other cheap alternatives?
An alternative would be these wired Boya BY-M1 LavalierMic that Rory tested about a year ago. Back then, these were the cheapest microphones on Shopee. After testing these, Rory was impressed with the audio quality and even used them to record the audio for that entire review.
Are there any USB PD chargers that can charge two laptops simultaneously?
Finding a USB PD charger that can charge two laptops simultaneously is challenging, but this Anker A2041 100W PowerPort charger is able to do just that. Moreover, you can charge two laptops and two smartphones simultaneously, however, the USB A output is limited to just 12W.
How to move WhatsApp messages from iOS to Android?
At the moment, the message transfer feature for WhatsApp is only supported by smartphones running Android 12 or on a Samsung Galaxy device running Android 10 or newer.
The first thing you will need to know about this process is that you will need to factory reset your smartphone as it won’t work if you have already installed WhatsApp before. Secondly, you need to ensure that your android smartphone has more than 80% battery as it will start charging the iPhone.
After the factory reset, do not download and install WhatsApp just yet. Connect your android smartphone to the iPhone using a Lightning to USB C cable and you will get a prompt on your device. On a Samsung Galaxy device, this process will proceed via SmartSwitch while other Android phones running Android 12 will do this on an operating system level.
After that, just follow the prompts that will guide you through the whole process. Once completed, WhatsApp should be available in your app drawer. Do not disconnect the cable until you verify that your chats have been transferred.

What about the other way around?
