Following the devastating floods that hit several regions throughout the country, Acer Malaysia has announced that they’ll be offering their help to the victims with a new repair program. Anyone affected by the floods and have their Acer products damaged by it will be able to reach out to Acer Malaysia and get it fixed for free, even if it’s out of warranty. Furthermore, Acer Malaysia will also help you repair non-Acer devices, albeit with a fee.
“We are saddened by the floods that overwhelmed many parts of Malaysia recently. Our thoughts and prayers are with all who are affected. To lend a helping hand, we would like to support the recovery process of those affected. This support is for both our Acer customers and non-Acer customers,” – Acer Malaysia
Of course, not every laptop or computer can be saved, and so Acer will also offer a 20% discount on any new desktop or laptop device from Acer Malaysia’s eStore if your device is damaged beyond repair. You won’t have to rush for it either, as both the repair and discount program will be going on until the 31st of March 2022. This is to give you and your family time to repair and fix the damage your homes may have suffered in the floods before getting a new computer.
