Nothing’s black Ear (1) earbuds are coming to Malaysia soon

We got teasers of Nothing’s Ear(1) black edition earbuds a few days ago, coming from various sources like Hypebeast and even Casey Neistat, who is an investor in Nothing. Now, the earbuds have been revealed and officially launched. The black edition has been added to the official product page on their website, including the Malaysian one.

Design-wise, this version is just as sleek as the original white. It’s pretty much all black, except for the internals and the red and grey circle icons on the back of the buds. It’s got matte black silicone tips, a black case, and a carbon black stem that accentuates the dark internals of the earbuds. Nothing states that everything else about them has stayed the same, so we can expect similar materials, weights, and sound quality.

To briefly go over the specs, the Nothing Ear (1) earbuds offer four hours of playback with active noise cancelling (ANC) enabled. This number jumps to 24 hours of playback if you include the charging case as well. The case charges via USB-C and it also supports wireless charging.

Both the white and black edition of the Nothing Ear (1) earbuds are officially priced at RM499 in Malaysia. You can get the white edition now on Shopee and various authorised dealers such as Senheng, Harvey Norman, Mobile2Go, DirectD, Satu Gadget and more.

On the 8th of December, Nothing will be hosting a limited online and in-store drop with their ‘global partner retailers’. They did not mention exactly which retailers will hold them, but Nothing has partnered with Shopee previously for the initial launch. They even have an official Shopee Malaysia store, so we can hope that they will be part of this early release. Apart from the limited drop, there will be an open sale that starts at 7pm Malaysian time, December 13 on their official website.
