The HTC One with its all aluminium unibody build may look sexy but lacks expansions such as a microSD slot or removable battery. With China being a big market with demand for dual-SIM phones, HTC is purportedly coming up with a different HTC One which comes with a removable back cover as shown on the left (Right image as reference of international HTC One).
Not only it comes with dual-SIM slots but there’s even a microSD slot as well. With the removable back cover, we’re not sure how does this affect the overall feel of the device but surely many would prefer to have an option to increase their storage. It is a pity that the international HTC One lacks this as they have made it possible in a unibody phone design such as the HTC Butterfly.
