If you’re a PC gaming enthusiast, or maybe you just travel through downtown KL often, you might know of the MSI Concept Store at BB Park, Bukit Bintang. With it’s gamery aesthetic and MSI logos plastered all around the building, it’s certainly hard to miss. Unfortunately, MSI are set to move out of BB Park, with June 15 set to be its last day at the two-storey corner lot.
According to MSI, this comes following Plaza Low Yat’s plans for redevelopment. As for where they’re moving to, their new location has yet to be revealed, although MSI says they will be opening their new store in the second half of the year. They also say that the new store will still be in downtown KL.
The MSI Concept Store first opened back in 2017, and since then it has become a place for fans of MSI to immerse themselves in the PC gaming world. The ground floor was a place where you can find the full range of MSI’s laptops, desktops and peripherals on display. The upper floor meanwhile was host to the Gaming Arena as well as workshops.
MSI will be taking this opportunity to gather their customers’ suggestions and expectations regarding their new location. You can submit your ideas by first joining their MSI Malaysia Dragon Army group on Facebook, and comment your idea under the relevant post regarding the campaign. MSI will then select a few lucky winners from the commenters, and they would get prizes from MSI too.
In the meantime though, if you’d still like to go to an MSI store – if SOPs allow it of course – you can head over to the ground floor of Plaza Low Yat nearby, where the MSI store is. Alternatively, you can also check out the official MSI online store for all your MSI needs.
