LG Electronics Malaysia has debuted its new LG PuriCare 4-WARD Tankless Water Purifier for the Malaysian market. The new product follows LG’s entry into the water filter business last year when it launched the LG PuriCare Water Purifier.
The new water purifier has a 3-stage filtration system that is claimed to eliminate microorganisms and seven types of heavy metals in water. This includes mercury, lead, arsenic, cadmium, iron, copper and aluminium. For additional cleaning, the purifier is said to able to be set to automatically UV-sterilise itself every hour.
As its name implies PuriCare 4-WARD’s ‘tankless’ technology basically allows it to filter water without the need of a water tank. This negates the risk of any harmful microorganisms forming within the tank.
Speaking of drinking, the PuriCare 4-WARD comes with an inverter compressor and induction heating system that allows users to enjoy their hot, cold or room temperature water. LG claims the feature saves the need of having to reboil water.
At the touch of a button, users are able to dispense hot water at three different temperatures: 85° for coffee, 75° for tea and 40° for making instant milk formula for babies.
Aside from that, the home appliance also has an auto tap that automatically adjusts the height of the tap based on the rim of your cup, minimising the chance of spills occurring. The tap is also able to move 180-degrees left or right too. LG claims that with these features spills and messes will be kept to the minimum.
You can also monitor the water purifier’s filter condition in real-time via the LG ThinQ app on your smartphone. The app even alerts you when it is time to change the filter to ensure its performance is always optimised.
