COVID-19: Malaysia records 4 imported cases, zero local cases today

Malaysia has recorded 4 new COVID-19 cases today which brings the total number of infections to 8,729. Fortunately, there are no new deaths recorded and the death toll remains at 122.

There are 4 new recoveries today and a total of 8,524 patients have recovered and discharged so far. The recovery rate is currently 97.65% while the mortality rate is 1.40%.

At the moment, there are 83 active cases which are currently isolated and receiving treatment. The number of cases in ICU has increased to 6 and 2 patients require respiratory support.

All 4 new cases today are imported and there are no local transmissions reported today. From the imported cases, there are 3 Malaysians and 1 foreigner. 2 are returning from Singapore, 1 returning from UAE and 1 returning from Russia.
