The OnePlus 7 series is an excellent flagship smartphone lineup that’s marred by bad pricing in Malaysia. Barely four months after its global launch, the company is already working on its updated version with the OnePlus 7T.
We’ve seen leaked renders of the 7T from serial leakster @onleaks and it looks pretty ugly at the back. It has a large circular camera bump that houses a triple-camera setup along with some triangular lines to separate each lens. For the higher-spec OnePlus 7T Pro, fortunately, it retains the exact same design as the current OnePlus 7 Pro.
From the renders, we can confirm that the OnePlus 7T will still get an edge-to-edge full-screen display that has no punch-holes or notches at the top. It still comes with a pop-up selfie camera while the rear gets a similar vertically aligned triple-camera setup.
@Onleaks has also confirmed a McLaren edition for the OnePlus 7T Pro also is in the works. Like its predecessor, it gets an all-black appearance with a hint of papaya orange at the bottom of its rear panel. The rear panel also gets a subtle carbon-fibre-like pattern underneath the glass.
The dimensions are said to be unchanged from the current OnePlus 7 Pro, and it is likely to retain a 90Hz 6.67″ Quad HD dual-curved Fluid AMOLED display. There are no details about its processor but it could be running on the same Snapdragon 855 unit as the current flagship duo. It is rumoured that the OnePlus 7T Pro may launch sometime on 26 September in India and it will go on sale a month later. Apart from the McLaren Edition, there’s also a haze blue version as illustrated above.
