Being the US president is a tiring task – countless meetings, calls, emails, policy-making sessions and ceremonies come and go daily. It is certain that the president would have to meet new people and remember a lot of names.

In an American Workforce Policy Advisory Board meeting at the White House, US president Donald Trump had an embarrassing when he referred to the CEO of Apple as “Tim Apple.”

“I used to say, ‘Tim, you gotta start doing it here,’ and you really have you’ve really put a big investment in our country. We really appreciate it very much, Tim Apple,” said President Trump.

Tim Cook may not be Michael Jackson, but he is still a prominent figure in the business world, especially when he succeeded Steve Jobs as the CEO of Apple back in 2011. It is safe to assume that everyone in the meeting should have an idea on who he is, including Trump. Old age catching up to him, I guess? To be fair, Trump did get Tim Cook’s name right in the beginning. Check out minute 4:23 below:

According to the Verge, this isn’t a first for Trump. Last year, the US president called Lockheed Martin’s CEO Marillyn Hewson “Marillyn Lockheed.”

“I may ask Marillyn Lockheed, the leading women’s business executive in this country, according to many,” said President Trump.

Who can forget the time when Donald Trump tweeted about his friend Jeff Bozo?

So sorry to hear the news about Jeff Bozo being taken down by a competitor whose reporting, I understand, is far more accurate than the reporting in his lobbyist newspaper, the Amazon Washington Post. Hopefully the paper will soon be placed in better & more responsible hands!

Aside from names, he had also referred the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) as CBC throughout his speech in an event to “salute” immigrant officials last August.
