Tune Talk kicks off 2019 with its new #SureOne Value Prepaid Pack. This will replace its current Tune Talk Buddies pack and it comes with 10GB of basic data for free. This ensures that you can stay connected without incurring additional pay per use charges.
The new Value Prepaid Pack retains the same rates as before at 22 sen per minute for voice calls and 10 sen per SMS to all networks in Malaysia. All calls are still charged based on a 60-second block.
For the free basic 10GB data, you would utilise this if you don’t have

Monthly/Year Plans
For those who prefer to subscribe to a monthly data plan, there are three options to choose from that comes with unlimited calls within Tune Talk. The base 1GB high-speed data plan that comes with unlimited data for Chat is going for RM10/month while the 6GB data with unlimited Chat and Social pass is going for RM28/month. For their ultimate monthly option, Tune Talk offers 10GB of high-speed data with unlimited Chat, Social and Music for RM48/month.
Interestingly, there’s still a yearly plan option which requires you to pay RM200 upfront to enjoy 120GB of data for 12 months. This is bulk data is distributed evenly across the 12 months and it effectively costs RM16.67/month for 10GB of high-speed data.
Overall, it is great that Tune Talk has finally stopped charging pay per use for excess data. Meanwhile, the new unlimited passes would also appeal to those who spend more time with instant messaging and social networks.
It would great if Tune Talk introduces a video pass that covers YouTube and other popular video platforms. From the looks of it, it appears that Tune Talk has discontinued its old Datatata dan +VIBE offering for new subscribers.
