The Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a dual-camera setup that offers infinite possibilities. The awesome Live Focus feature has been improved and the Note9’s camera is now also intelligent enough to tell you when you’ve taken a bad picture.

Enhanced Live Focus

With Live Focus, you can take bokehlicious photos and you have full control on how much blur you want to apply. This can be changed before and even after the picture is taken. This time, you can also use Live Focus in less ideal lighting situations by simply turning on the flashlight.

Dual Capture

The Live Focus photos are taken using both main and secondary telephoto lens. The Galaxy Note9 can save both wide-angle and close up photos so you won’t miss the bigger picture. Just enable Dual Capture from the main camera interface before you take the shot.

Extra Live Focus effects

You can also take your bokeh shots to the next level with the new lighting effects in Live Focus. If you’ve taken a shot with lights in the background, you can transform them into artistic shapes and expressions. You can preview these effects by editing the photo with the default editor.

The Galaxy Note9 now comes with Flaw Detection. Whether someone had blinked or if the image appears to be blurry, the camera app will tell you so that you can retake the shot. If your camera lens is dirty, the Galaxy Note9 can also remind you to clean the lens. When the backlight is too harsh, it can also tell you to turn on HDR mode if it’s switched off.

With the new enhanced S Pen, your selfies don’t need to be limited to an arm’s length. You can set the scene from up to 10 metres away and just press on the S Pen button to take the shot. The front 8MP camera has auto focus and it is set to intelligently focus on faces at all times.

At the moment, the Galaxy Note9 retails at RM3,699 for the 128GB version and RM4,599. From now until 31 December, you can get it with a RM400 instant rebate.

For something more unique, the Galaxy Note9 is now available in Lavender Purple. For a limited time promo, Samsung is bundling a free 512GB microSD card, which gives you a total of 1TB of storage in your hands. You can learn more on Samsung’s website.
