While flagship smartphones have gotten more powerful with each iteration, one of the biggest concerns is definitely battery life. Sure, you can do more on a smartphone these days but it’s a hassle if you need to carry a power bank in order to last a full day.
Ahead of its big reveal, Huawei promises that the Mate 10 will offer great battery life from a single charge. Sounds pretty promising and they have just confirmed its battery capacity as well.
For the upcoming Mate 10, Huawei has confirmed that it will carry a 4,000mAh battery capacity in the tweet below. That’s quite huge compared to other flagships that usually come with less than 3,500mAh. With a newer 10nm Kirin 970 processor, it should be more power efficient than its current 16nm based Kirin 960. If Huawei follows the same trend as last year’s Mate, the higher-spec Mate 10 Pro should carry the same 4,000mAh capacity as well.

Compared to the Huawei Mate 8, the battery life on the Mate 9 isn’t as stellar despite packing a newer processor and retaining the same 4,000mAh battery capacity. It still manages to last a full day but it isn’t as enduring as the Mate 8 which gave us more than 7 hours of screen on time. Hopefully, the next Mate will perform better.
In case you missed it, the Mate 10 will be revealed in Munich on 16 October 2017. Keep it locked on to SoyaCincau.com for the latest updates.
