Acer has officially introduced a major refresh to its monitor lineup across the Predator, Nitro, and ProDesigner ranges at IFA 2026.
The new models target everyone from competitive esports players to digital creators, bringing high refresh rates, 5K panels, and dynamic resolution-switching options.
It also includes a native 1000Hz Full HD gaming display alongside high-end Mini LED and QD-OLED choices.
Acer Predator XB253Q U1: Built for ultra-high refresh rates
The Acer Predator XB253Q U1 features a 24.5-inch IPS display delivering a native 1000Hz refresh rate at Full HD (1920×1080) resolution.
Designed specifically for competitive esports titles, it features a 0.3ms Visual Response Boost (VRB) Pro response time, AMD FreeSync Premium, NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility, and a Circular Polarizer to reduce reflection and eye strain during long sessions.
How does Acer’s 1000Hz monitor compare to LG’s UltraGear 25G590B?
While Acer is introducing its first 1000Hz offering, LG previously entered the market with its UltraGear 25G590B, which first debuted at the ChinaJoy 2026 gaming convention in Shanghai, China.
Both displays share the exact same foundation,a 24.5-inch native 1000Hz Full HD IPS panel. However, LG provides a USD 100 (~RM404) lower entry price at USD 999.99 (~RM4,044) alongside an optional 1100Hz overclock setting.
Acer, listed at USD 1,099 (~RM4,445), equips its display with a Circular Polarizer layer specifically engineered to cut glare and reduce eye fatigue during extended esports sessions. For connectivity, both models offer DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1, and adaptive sync support.
In terms of real-world choice, LG serves as the more affordable option for gamers seeking raw refresh speed at a lower price point. Conversely, Acer targets competitive players who prioritize glare reduction under bright tournament or indoor lighting to keep visual targets crisp over long matches.
Acer Predator X32 V3 and XB273K V7: QD-OLED and DFR modes
Beyond the 1000Hz speed focus, Acer is offering higher visual clarity and hybrid resolution modes across its lineup. The Predator X32 V3 features a 31.5-inch 4K UHD (3840×2160) QD-OLED display with a five-layer Penta Tandem panel structure built for deeper contrast and black levels.
It features at a 180Hz refresh rate with a 0.03ms GTG response time, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification, and 99% DCI-P3 color coverage.
Meanwhile, Acer states the 27-inch Predator XB273K V7 pairs a native 4K UHD resolution at 160Hz with Dynamic Frequency and Resolution (DFR) technology, allowing users to toggle down to Full HD resolution at 500Hz.
Acer Nitro Series: High Resolution and Tri-Mode Dynamic Switching
Acer’s Nitro lineup introduces 5K clarity alongside versatile resolution-switching modes:
- Nitro XV275X P: A 27-inch 5K (5120×2880) IPS display with 2304-zone Mini LED backlighting and VESA DisplayHDR 1400 certification. DFR technology allows you to switch between 5K at 165Hz and QHD at 330Hz. It includes a 90W USB-C port, a built-in KVM switch, and PIP/PBP functionality.
- Nitro XZ340CKR P: A curved 34-inch ultrawide VA monitor running WUHD (5120 x 2160) resolution at 180Hz, with DFR switching up to WFHD at 360Hz.
- Nitro XV275U Z2 & XV270U Z3: Both 27-inch IPS models feature Tri-mode DFR technology, letting you toggle between QHD at 275Hz, Full HD at 360Hz, and HD at 520Hz. The XV275U Z2 adds 1152-zone Mini LED backlighting with HDR1000 support.
Acer ProDesigner PE270X P: Built for Creators
Aimed at professional designers and video editors, the 27-inch ProDesigner PE270X P offers a native 5K (5120 x 2880) resolution with factory-calibrated Delta E<1 color accuracy. It features 2304-zone Mini LED backlighting, VESA DisplayHDR 1400 certification, 99% coverage across Adobe RGB, sRGB, and DCI-P3 gamuts, as well as 90W USB-C power delivery.

Acer has shared official global pricing, with regional rollout scheduled between Q4 2026 and Q1 2027:
