Honor Pad 20 and Pad 20 Pro are coming to Malaysia on 24 August, and here’s what you can expect

Honor Malaysia has announced that its latest tablet lineup, the Honor Pad 20 Series, will launch locally on 24 August 2026.

For the first time in this lineup, Honor is introducing a higher-spec Pro variant alongside the standard model. Positioned as a more affordable option below the flagship MagicPad line, the Honor Pad 20 Series features a 12.1-inch 3K display, a six-speaker sound system, and a massive 10,100mAh battery.

12.1-inch 3K Display and Paperlike Screen Option

Both models feature a 12.1-inch 3K display. For the Pro variant, Honor is debuting its Paperlike Display, which uses a non-reflective matte finish to eliminate 99% of ambient light reflection for reading and note-taking.

To reduce strain during long viewing sessions, the series incorporates standard eye-comfort features including DC dimming, dynamic brightness adjustment, low blue light hardware protection, and motion sickness relief modes.

Performance: Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and AI Features

Under the hood, the top-tier Honor Pad 20 Pro runs on Qualcomm’s flagship-level Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. The standard Honor Pad 20 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip.

Additionally, both tablets bring down flagship AI productivity features previously seen on the higher-end Honor MagicPad 4, making AI-assisted multitasking and work tools available to more users.

10,100mAh Battery with Up to 66W Fast Charging

To power the large 3K display, both tablets are backed by a massive 10,100mAh battery, the largest capacity in its class. Honor claims this delivers 9 hours of continuous video playback, 7 hours of gaming, or up to 71 days of standby time.

When it comes to topping up, the Honor Pad 20 Pro supports 66W fast wired charging, while the standard model supports 45W fast wired charging.

Surround Sound and Spatial Audio

For audio, both tablets come with a six-speaker array. The Pad 20 gets Hi-Res Audio certification, while the Pad 20 Pro adds DTS:X Ultra and IMAX Enhanced certifications on top of that.

The Honor Pad 20 Series will officially be available in Malaysia starting 24 August 2026 in both Matte (Pro Paperlike display) and Clear Display options. Full pricing, configuration specs (RAM/Storage), and launch promos will be officially announced on the launch date.
