In addition to the newly updated ChargEV app, Yinson GreenTech has also announced a new collaboration with Maybank that allows EV owners to save on their EV charging expenses. Set to start on 1 August 2026, the new ChargEV x Maybank promo will run until 31 July 2027.

Under the new promo, Maybank Visa and Mastercard credit card holders will be able to enjoy an 8% rebate when they charge their EV through the ChargEV app. If you own a Maybank myimpact Visa Signature Credit Card or Maybank Islamic myimpact Ikhwan Mastercard Platinum Credit Card-i, you will get an additional 8% rebate, which is separate from the existing 8% myimpact ESG cashback.

The launch of the newly updated ChargEV app on 27 July 2026.

In order to be eligible for the rebate, your charging fee has to be at least RM30 per session. In addition to that, the maximum rebate that you can get from each charging session is RM3, and the rebate will be credited back to your ChargEV account’s wallet by the first Thursday of the following month.

However, note that this promo is subject to the monthly rebate pool of RM8,000 for Maybank Visa and Mastercard credit cards, while the rebate pool for the myimpact credit cards is RM4,500 per month. Once these monthly allocations are fully redeemed, cardholders will not receive any further rebates until the rebate pools reset again on the 1st day of the following month.
