TM has finally revealed the pricing of the FIFA World Cup 2026 pass for Unifi TV. As you may know, the IPTV service by TM is one of the official broadcasters for the FIFA World Cup 2026 in Malaysia alongside RTM.
Interestingly enough, TM didn’t take the opportunity to use the FIFA World Cup 2026 to push for any of Unifi TV’s packages – even its Sports Pack. Instead, the FIFA World Cup 2026 broadcast is a standalone offering that has to be obtained separately from any of the Unifi TV packs.
TM has said that Unifi TV will be showing all 104 matches from the tournament live in HD. The matches will be shown through 3 dedicated channels on the service.
Unifi TV is currently available through a web browser and Unifi TV box, as well as the Unifi TV 2.0 app for smartphones, tablets, and Android TV-based set-top boxes. The Unifi TV 2.0 app is also available through selected smart TV platforms, including Android TV, Samsung Tizen, and LG WebOS.
Here’s how much it costs to watch the FIFA World Cup 2026 through Unifi TV:
You can purchase the passes through Unifi TV’s official website, MyUnifi app, Unifi TV 2.0 app, and Unifi Selfcare portal. At the moment, only the Season Pass is available for purchase, while the Daily Pass will only be available from 12 June onwards.
As per its name, the Unifi FIFA World Cup 2026 Daily Pass provides 1 day of access to the tournament’s dedicated channels on Unifi TV as well as replays and match highlights. The access for Daily Pass customers will be opened at 11:00 PM on the day before your selected match day until 11:59 PM on the match day.
As an example, let’s say you want to watch Group A’s match between South Korea and Czechia on 12 June at 10:00 AM. So, you decided to buy the Daily Pass for 12 June.
Once you purchase the pass, you will have access to all 3 Unifi FIFA World Cup 2026 channels on 11 June at 11:00 PM, and access to these channels will be removed at 11:59 PM on 12 June. This means you would also get to watch the Group A match between Mexico and South Africa that will take place at 3:00 AM on 12 June.
Aside from that, the Daily Pass holder will also have access to Unifi TV’s 16 free channels:
These 16 channels will continue to be available to Daily Pass holders even after the pass has expired and beyond the FIFA World Cup 2026 season.
The Unifi FIFA World Cup 2026 Season Pass is rather straightforward – with this pass, you will get to watch all the matches, replays, and match highlights during the entire event. In fact, Season Pass holders get to access all of the FIFA World Cup 2026’s content until 31 July, which is 11 days after the event concludes.
At the same time, Season Pass holders will also be able to access all channels on Unifi TV from 11 June until 10 July. This includes premium channels such as HBO, Cinemax, tvN Movies, and beIN Sports, as well as their on-demand content under Unifi TV’s Catch Up section.
After 10 July, they will continue to have access to 16 free channels on Unifi TV.
