Honda Malaysia extends e:HEV and i-DCD hybrid battery warranty to 10 years

Honda Malaysia has announced that customers who purchased a Honda e:HEV hybrid model from 1 May 2026 onwards are going to receive a 10-year, unlimited mileage warranty for the hybrid lithium-ion battery and related components. Previously, the warranty duration provided for them was 8 years.

Under the same “Hybrid Done Right” campaign, existing owners of e:HEV as well as older i-DCD models are also covered by the new warranty policy. Not only that, but the eligibility has also been extended to second-hand owners of e:HEV and i-DCD models.

Aside from the e:HEV logo, the blue outline on the “H” mark signifies that this is the hybrid version of the 2025 Honda Civic RS.

Honda e:HEV models that are eligible for the newly extended warranty period include City, City Hatchback, HR-V, Civic, and the 2026 CR-V. As for the i-DCD models, the eligible models are Jazz, City, and HR-V.

On a related note, Honda Malaysia is currently offering rebates of up to RM12,000 for e:HEV models, alongside 2 years of free service. This offer is valid until the end of June 2026.
