Vivo has launched a brand new mid-range smartphone, the Vivo V70 FE, in Malaysia. This device sits above Vivo’s entry-level Y-series smartphones, and below the V70, which debuted just over a month ago.
The Vivo V70 FE is offered in three storage configurations in Malaysia:
Pre-orders are now open until 17 April 2026, and Vivo Malaysia is offering early bird customers free gifts worth up to RM1,256. This includes goodies such as:
The Vivo V70 FE (Fashion Edition) comes in three colour options, including Muse Purple, Ocean Blue, and Titanium Silver. The device is also rated at IP68 and IP69, making it dust- and water-resistant.
Additionally, Vivo claims the V70 FE can withstand being soaked in water at a depth of 1.5m for 120 minutes, is rain resistant for 48 hours, and also comes with what the brand calls “shower-friendly audio” — essentially, you can listen to music from your V70 FE while showering without needing to worry about water damage.
At the front of the Vivo V70 FE is a 6.83″ 120Hz AMOLED display that pushes a resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels and can go as bright as 1,900 nits in high brightness mode. Powering the Vivo V70 FE is MediaTek’s 4nm Dimensity 7360-Turbo chipset, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
In the imaging department, you get two sensors at the back — a 200MP f/1.9 main camera with a 1/1.56″ Samsung HP5 sensor and OIS, and an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide snapper. For selfies, there’s a 32MP f/2.2 shooter with a 1/3.1″ sensor and a 90° field of view.
Keeping the lights on is a 7,000mAh battery that can charge at 90W via USB-C. Vivo says this can juice up the device from 1% to 100% in just 60 minutes. As for software, the Vivo V70 FE ships with OriginOS 6, based on Android 16. Vivo promises to support the V70 FE with up to 6 years of security updates.
