Besides the MacBook Neo being available for pre-order today, you can also place your orders for Apple’s new M5-powered MacBook Air as well as M5 Pro and M5 Max variants of the MacBook Pro in Malaysia.
These releases complete Apple’s entire MacBook lineup for 2026 which now offer double the base storage, faster SSD and WiFi 7 support.
New 2026 MacBook Air and MacBook Pro available for “pre-order” in Malaysia
Similar to the MacBook Neo, you can place an order for the MacBook Air M5 and MacBook Pro M5 Pro and M5 Max variants in Malaysia today. According to authorised retailer Switch, customers can secure their order by placing a RM300 deposit and both MacBooks are expected to be available from 9th April onwards. They are also offering savings up to RM300 depending on the payment partners.

If you prefer to order and customise your MacBook from Apple directly, both the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro are available on the online Apple Store with deliveries expected to start from 10th April. At the time of writing, pick-up option is not available for the Apple Store at TRX.
Apple is also offering Education pricing for the new MacBooks. The MacBook Air with the 13″ version is offered from RM4,299 while the 15″ version starts from RM5,099.
For the MacBook Pro with the M5 Pro chip, the Education pricing starts from RM8,399 for the 14″ version while the 16″ version starts from RM10,199. Meanwhile, for the M5 Max-powered MacBook Pro, the Education pricing starts from RM13,669 for the 14″ and RM14,799 for the 16″ version.
