Oppo Find N6 Malaysia: The Flattest Foldable Ever is Now Available for Purchase at RM8,699

Oppo has officially launched the Find N6 in Malaysia, a device that aims to solve the most persistent issue with foldables: the crease. This generation introduces what Oppo calls a “Zero-Feel Crease,” utilising a refined hinge architecture that makes the 8.12-inch internal display almost flat to the touch.

During a recent technical briefing, Oppo engineers went as far as to claim that the Find N6 isn’t just the definitive flagship for 2026 but is engineered with enough foresight to remain the best phone in the market through 2027. So, outperforming the future Find N7 as well?

Pricing and Availability

The Oppo Find N6 is officially priced at RM8,699 in Malaysia for the single 16GB + 512GB configuration. It is available in two distinct colourways: Stellar Titanium, which features deep grey tones and a metallic finish, and Blossom Orange, which incorporates genuine gold accents into its titanium alloy hinge.

Following the initial launch, the device is now officially on sale across Malaysia. Those who purchase the Find N6 between March 20 and April 18, 2026, are eligible for a specialised sales campaign that includes:

  • A free Oppo AI Pen Kit worth RM599, available while stocks last.
  • A free one-year extended warranty (valued at RM599) redeemable through the My Oppo App.
  • A purchase-with-purchase (PWP) option for a one-year screen protection plan priced at RM299, a significant reduction from its RM799 recommended retail price.

For those looking to spread the cost, the device is available through 0% Interest Instalment Plans starting from approximately RM362 per month over a 24-month tenure at the official Oppo Store. Major retailers like Harvey Norman and Senheng are also offering extended 0% EPP (Easy Payment Plan) options with participating banks for up to 36 or even 60 months, with monthly payments starting as low as RM144.98.

The Oppo Find N6 can be purchased at all Oppo Brand Stores, My Oppo Space, and authorised dealers, as well as through official online stores on Lazada, Shopee, TikTok Shop, and the Oppo eStore.

The Engineering Behind the “Zero-Feel” Crease

The defining characteristic of the Find N6 is what Oppo calls the “Zero-Feel Crease.” Unlike traditional foldables, where the crease often feels like a “speed bump” under the finger, the Find N6 achieves a tactilely seamless experience that feels like a continuous sheet of glass.

This is made possible through the 2nd-Generation Titanium Flexion Hinge, which utilises an industry-first 3D Liquid Printing process to solve the problem of microscopic height variations.

While standard hinges typically have irregularities of 0.2mm to 0.3mm along their spine, large enough for a thin OLED panel to “settle” into, Oppo laser-scans each hinge with 0.3-micron precision. Using this map, a specialised printer applies five-picolitre droplets of a photopolymer to the hinge plate, building it up layer-by-layer over 20 cycles and curing it with UV light.

This reduces surface variance to just 0.05mm, a 75% improvement in smoothness that provides a perfectly flat foundation for the screen.

To ensure the display remains flat over years of use, Oppo introduced Auto-Smoothing Flex Glass. This material is 50% thicker and significantly more elastic than standard ultra-thin glass, allowing it to act as a physical spring.

When the device is opened, the elasticity of the glass pulls the underlying OLED layers and adhesives back into perfect alignment, counteracting the “shifting” that typically causes creases to deepen over time. This results in a claimed 82% reduction in crease depth compared to previous generations.

The mechanical folding mechanism also employs a water-drop design that is 11% wider this year, allowing the screen to fold into a gentle curve rather than a sharp, acute bend, which further minimises mechanical stress on the internal panel.

Structurally, the hinge is a masterclass in material science, constructed from Grade-5 titanium alloy, 2200 MPa ultra-high-strength steel, and carbon fibre support plates.

This robust architecture allows the Find N6 to achieve a record-breaking rating of one-million-fold cycles, double the industry standard. According to TÜV Rheinland certifications, the display is engineered to remain exceptionally flat even after passing the 600,000-fold milestone.

Finally, the entire assembly is triple-certified with IP56, IP58, and IP59 ratings, making the hinge and body resistant to everything from full submersion to high-pressure, high-temperature water jets.

Dual Flagship Displays

The Oppo Find N6 features a 6.62-inch 120Hz LTPO OLED cover screen with a resolution of 2616 x 1140. Protected by Ultra-Thin Nanocrystal Glass, this panel is designed for high-visibility usage, achieving an outdoor brightness of 1,800 nits and a peak HDR brightness of 3,600 nits.

Unfolding the device reveals the primary 8.12-inch 120Hz LTPO OLED main display with a 2480 x 2248 resolution. This internal panel utilises the new Auto-Smoothing Flex Glass, which is 50% thicker and more elastic than standard materials to support the Zero-Feel crease-free experience. While it matches the cover screen’s 1,800-nit outdoor visibility, it reaches a peak brightness of 2,500 nits.

Both displays are calibrated to support Dolby Vision and 2,160Hz PWM dimming, ensuring a consistent, flicker-free flagship experience regardless of which screen is in use.

Performance, Camera, and Software

Performance is driven by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform, supported by 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM running at 4266MHz (4×16 bit) and 512GB of UFS 4.1 internal storage using 2Lanes HS-Gear5.

Powering the experience is a 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports 80W SuperVOOC wired charging and 50W AairVOOC wireless charging.

In collaboration with Hasselblad, the Cosmos Ring camera module features a high-resolution 200MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto lens with tele-macro support. The system can record up to 4K 120fps video in Dolby Vision and offers professional Log video support.

On the software front, ColorOS 16.0 introduces productivity tools like the Free-Flow Window for four-app multitasking and support for the Oppo AI Pen, which features 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity. The O+ Connect suite also allows for seamless integration with iOS devices and desktop computers.

Regarding long-term support, Oppo has committed to 5 years of major Android OS upgrades and 6 years of security updates for the Find N6.
