ChargEV deploys EV chargers at Aeon Mall Kota Bharu, DC Charging up to 240kW

Kota Bharu is getting another high-powered EV charging station with the latest deployment by ChargEV.

The Charge Point Operator has just turned on a total of 5 EV charge points at Aeon Mall Kota Bharu in Kelantan which consists of both AC and DC Chargers.

As part of its opening promo, ChargEV is providing 20% discount for EV charging for the first 3 days at the location.

ChargEV has deployed a 240kW DC Charger with two CCS2 nozzles and 3x 22kW AC Charge Points at Aeon Mall Kota Bharu. To access this charger, you’ll need to enter via Gate 5 which is towards the back of the building and then turn left.

The DC Charger is priced at RM1.60 per kWh while the AC charge points are priced at RM1.00 per kWh. You can activate these charger via the ChargEV app.

To celebrate the launch of the Aeon Mall Kota Bharu chargers, ChargEV is offering 20% off until 12th January at 2:00pm. As shown above, the 240kW DC Charger is now priced at RM1.28 per kWh while the 22kW AC charge points are priced at RM0.80 per kWh during the launch promo period.

Besides ChargEV’s EV chargers, there’s also a TNB Electron 47kW DC Charger located at the front of the mall, near the Gate 4 Car Park Entrance. With the latest deployment, there are now 4x DC and 3x AC charge points at Aeon Mall Kota Bharu.

In case you missed it, TNB Electron recently deployed a 240kW DC Charger with 3 nozzles at Yard TNB Lundang in Kota Bharu.
