In the final days of 2025, Honor has announced the Win and Win RT (yes, that’s the name) and this might just be the ultimate “flagship killer” smartphone.

Positioned as gaming-centric smartphones, the Honor Win series boasts ultimate performance, improve cooling and a massive 10,000mAh battery. What’s more impressive is that these devices are still thinner and lighter than the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

In terms of design, it does look awfully similar to the F8 Ultra (aka Redmi K90 Pro Max in China), but without the extra subwoofer.

Honor Win powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

The range topping model is the Honor Win and it comes with a 6.83″ Full HD+ (2800×1272) OLED display that boasts a refresh rate of 185Hz. It also features 6,000 nits of peak brightness, HDR10+ support and 5,920Hz PWM dimming. It also gets a 3D under display fingerprint sensor for instant unlocking.

Under the hood, it runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 mated with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X ULTRA RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.

To keep things cool, the Honor Win series comes with large vapour chamber and an active Ultra Fan that spins up to 25,000RPM. The fan design has dual 360-degree air intake vents that channels cool air directly on the heat source. Honor claims that it is able to drop the chip’s maximum temperature by up to 7 degrees Celsius.

In the imaging department, it gets a pretty decent triple-camera setup. This includes a 50MP f/1.95 main camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor and a 50MP f/2.4 telephoto camera with 3× optical zoom, both of which feature optical image stabilisation (OIS). Meanwhile, the third shooter is a 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera with autofocus and macro capabilities.

The rear camera setup supports 4K video recording up to 60fps and 4K night video mode up to 24fps.

For selfies, it gets a 50MP f/2.0 front camera that sits in a punch-hole and it supports 4K video recording.

As you would expect from a flagship smartphone, it supports IP68, IP69 and IP69K rated dust and water resistance. The Win also comes with dual speakers that boasts “AI surround subwoofer”.

What’s more impressive is the 10,000mAh “Qinghai Lake” battery that boasts an energy density of 910Wh/L. Because of the high energy density, the Honor Win still manages to remain impressively slim at just 8.3mm and it weighs 229g.

It supports up fast wired charging up to 100W (20V/5A) and fast wireless charging up to 80W.

Out of the box, the Honor Win runs on Android 16 with MagicOS 10 skin on top. Despite being promoted as a “gaming” smartphone, the Win series lacks side trigger buttons.

Here’s the pricing of the Honor Win in China:

  • 12GB + 256GB – CNY3,999 (about RM2,319)
  • 12GB + 512GB – CNY4,399 (about RM2,551)
  • 16GB + 512GB – CNY 4,699 (about RM2,725)
  • 16GB + 1TB – CNY5,199 (about RM3,015)

Honor Win RT powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite

If you’re looking for a cheaper alternative, there’s the Honor Win RT. The main difference is the processor as the RT variant runs on a Snapdragon 8 Elite and it loses one camera.

The Honor Win RT still gets a similar 6.83″ Full HD+ OLED display that does 185Hz refresh rate and 6,000 nits of peak brightness, and it is also available with up to 16GB LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.

The Ultra Fan cooling system is also retained along with dual speakers, and IP68, IP69, IP69K rated dust and water resistance.

For the rear cameras, it gets a simpler dual-camera setup consisting of a 50MP f/1.95 main camera with 1.156″ sensor and a secondary 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera. Also retained is a 50MP selfie shooter.

Here’s the pricing of the Honor Win RT in China:

  • 12GB + 256GB – CNY2,599 (about RM1,507)
  • 16GB + 256GB – CNY2,899 (about RM1,681)
  • 12GB + 512GB – CNY 3,099 (about RM1,797)
  • 16GB + 512GB – CNY3,399 (about RM1,971)
  • 16GB + 1TB – CNY3,999 (about RM2,319)

At the moment, the Honor Win and Win RT are only announced in China. So far it isn’t clear if Honor will introduce the Win series globally including Malaysia.
