TNB Electron is going to turn on two new EV charging stations tomorrow, 31 October. The CPO is on a roll as of late, given that it has just deployed EV chargers in Putrajaya, Gambang, and Jeli within the past few weeks.

One of the new TNB Electron EV charging stations is located at The Atmosphere in Seri Kembangan. The CPO is also set to activate their new chargers at TNB Yard Batu Rimau in Kuala Selangor.

Both locations feature 4 charging bays with a maximum DC speed of 240kW. As per tradition, TNB Electron will be offering free charging at both locations from tomorrow until 1 November 2025 at 11:59 PM.

In terms of charging fee, it will cost RM1.50 per kWh to charge your EV at either location once the free charging period is over. You can activate and pay your charging fee using the card payment terminal, which is powered by JuiceUp.

In general, TNB Electron’s new installation at the TNB Yard Batu Rimau is the most interesting deployment out of the two locations. This is because it is the first DC charging station in Kuala Selangor, according to our quick check on PlugShare.

Before this, the only public EV charging facility in the area was the JomCharge AC chargers at Lotus’s Kuala Selangor. As for the nearest DC charging station to Kuala Selangor, that would be the DC Handal chargers at the Assam Jawa Toll Plaza on the West Coast Expressway (WCE).
