Charge+ Malaysia has introduced its EV Charging subscription plans which start from RM540. Essentially this is a bundled EV charging credit plan where you can enjoy cheaper EV charging as low as RM0.75 per kWh.

The Charge+ Subscription Plans are now available for purchase via the Charge+ app.

Charge+ offers a total of 3 subscription plans as follows:

  • Basic 600kWh – RM540
  • Pro 800kWh – RM640
  • Max 1,200kWh – RM900

These plans have a validity of 1 year upon activation and any unused kWh quota will be forfeited once expired.

On the Basic plan, your EV charging would cost you 90 sen per kWh, while the Pro plan would cost you 80 sen per kWh. For the maximum savings and value, the Max plan would effectively cost you 75 sen per kWh. This is based on the assumption that you can fully utilise the quota within the validity period.

The plan is applicable to Charge+ EV chargers in Malaysia except for privately owned charging locations such as Menara & Wisma CIMB, Wangsa Walk Mall and Royal Selangor Club Kiara.

Some notable Charge+ DC Turbo charging locations include (120kW) Capri by Fraser in Bukit Bintang, (120kW) Proton DK Motor 4S in Ipoh, (120kW) Skudai R&R Southbound, (120kW) Amverton Heritage Resort in Melaka and (60kW) Tai Chong Seafood Restaurant in Teluk Intan.
