BYD Cars Malaysia has teased the updated 2025 BYD Seal on its social media channels. The facelifted model was launched in Singapore in April with minor updates and a suspension upgrade.
Exterior changes of the 2025 BYD Seal include a larger frunk at 53 litres (up from 50 litres), new alloy wheel designs, and an electric sunroof shade. The suspension has been upgraded to the DiSus-C adaptive damping system, also found in the updated model in Singapore and Indonesia, and the Denza D9 MPV sold here.
To recap, here’s the current line-up for BYD Seal in Malaysia:
DC fast charging from 30–80% takes about 32 minutes for all variants. AC charging from empty is 8.6 hours for the smaller battery and 15.2 hours for the larger pack.
Singapore-spec safety kit includes nine airbags, a 360-degree camera, parking sensors front and rear, adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane keep assist, blind spot detection, rear cross traffic alert with braking, and a head-up display.
