Nintendo Switch 2 is now available for pre-order in Malaysia. This announcement came barely a day after Nintendo revealed the launch date of the Nintendo Switch 2 for our market.
One of the official retailers where you can pre-order the new console is the Nintendo Official Store Malaysia. For those who are not familiar with it, the Nintendo Official Store Malaysia which is handled by Nintendo’s official distributor for Malaysia, Convergent Distribution, is located on Shopee and Lazada.
Nintendo Switch 2 Malaysia pre-order
As per our previous report, Nintendo has confirmed that it will release the Nintendo Switch 2 in Malaysia with two options:
- Nintendo Switch 2 standalone set: RM2,488 – Shopee / Lazada
- Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle: RM2,688 – Shopee / Lazada
Regardless of the version that you choose, each of them comes standard with a 1-year official warranty by Convergent Distribution.
In terms of shipping, it appears that estimated delivery times might be slightly later than the official Malaysian launch date, which will take place on 3 July. According to the listing on Shopee, customers will likely get their Switch 2 between 20 July to 7 August, while the Lazada listing has a guaranteed delivery date of 23 to 25 July.
Based on Shopee’s listing, it appears that Convergent Distribution is prioritising the Mario Kart World bundle over the standalone kit. During our quick check at 12:33 AM today, 299 units of the Mario Kart World bundle were still available as compared to just 48 units of the standalone kit.
