Acer has unveiled the Predator Triton 14 AI, a premium 14.5-inch gaming and creative laptop that packs serious performance into a sleek, portable chassis. Announced in conjunction with Computex 2025, the new Predator Triton 14 AI is part of Acer’s latest 14″ Predator laptop lineup designed for gamers and creative professionals.

It is powered by Intel’s Core Ultra 9 processor 288V, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics, and has support for Microsoft’s new Copilot+ PC platform.

The Predator Triton 14 AI is said to be the first laptop to use graphene thermal interface material (TIM) on the CPU, which Acer claims to be an a notable industry-first. The use of graphene for CPU cooling boasts a 14.5% improvement in thermal capacity over traditional thermal grease which will result in improved heat reduction while ensuring stability during heavy loads.

It features a 14.5″ WQXGA+ (2880×1800) OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time and full DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage. The OLED panel is Calman Verified and supports finger-based touch input. It also features a large one-piece button-less haptic Corning Gorilla Glass touchpad with stylus pen support.

The bundled active stylus supports AES 2.0, USI 2.0 and MPP2.5 protocols, with 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity. It also has tilt support and 10-450g responsive pen tip force designed to make it easier for creators to sketch, write and create with greater accuracy.

The chassis measures just 17.31mm thin and weighs 1.6kg. The body features anti-fingerprint coating and a diamond-cut iridescent silver hinge.

The Predator Triton 14 AI can be configured with up to 32GB LPDDR5X RAM (8,533MHz) and up to 2TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage.

To keep this slim laptop cool, Acer has used a dual 6th Gen AeroBlade 3D metal fans with the world’s thinnest cooling fan blades at 0.05mm. It also features a Vortex Flow airflow system designed to direct cooling to key components like the CPU and GPU, while its vapour chamber helps to efficiently distribute heat to prevent hot spots.

Since the Predator Triton 14 AI is a certified Copilot+ PC, it will also receive exclusive access to new AI features in Windows 11 which includes Live Captions for real-time translation and Image Creator in Paint. The built-in Human Presence Detection (HPD) with AI Vision Sensor enhances security and convenience by detecting when the user is present or away.

Other notable features include a per-key mini-LED RGB backlit keyboard, Thunderbolt 4, Killer Wi-Fi 7, a 1080p IR camera and DTS:X Ultra audio with 6 speakers..

The Predator Triton 14 AI (PT14-52T) will be available in EMEA starting July 2025, priced from EUR 2,999 (about RM14,486). So far there’s no word yet on Malaysian pricing and availability.
