Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) is back and it’s happening on Tuesday, 10th June at 1am Malaysian time. As always, the WWDC25 is taking place at Apple Park, kicking off a week-long series of developer sessions and software reveals.

While WWDC remains a software-centric event, Apple’s opening keynote is one to look forward to as it sets the tone for what’s coming to iPhones, iPads, Apple Watch and Macs. It also provides a glimpse of what to expect from the upcoming iPhone 17 series which is set to launch around September this year.

What to expect from WWDC25?

Apple hasn’t dropped any concrete details yet, but this year’s WWDC logo shows a semi-filled “loading” transparent rainbow. The press announcement hints “groundbreaking updates” that are coming to iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS. This means we’ll be getting our first look at iOS 19, iPadOS 19 and more.

According to Bloomberg’s Apple Analyst, Mark Gurman, iOS 19 is said to feature the biggest update since iOS 7. He shared that the new UI will adopt design principles from visionOS which include greater transparency and new types of windows and buttons.

With the industry still focusing around generative AI, Apple is expected to showcase deeper integration of Apple Intelligence and AI-related features in its ecosystem.

It is unlikely that Apple would introduce any new hardware at WWDC25 unless Apple pulls a “one more thing” surprise.

Where to watch WWDC 2025 in Malaysia

Apple’s WWDC25 keynote will be livestreamed globally on Tuesday, 10th June at 1am Malaysia time. You can tune in via:

  • apple.com
  • The Apple TV app on supported devices
  • Apple’s official YouTube channel

Developers can also access over 100 online sessions, labs, and Q&A activities through the Apple Developer app and the Apple Developer website.
