Oppo Pad SE launched in Malaysia – Budget tablet with 11″ display, 9340mAh battery, priced at RM599 for limited time

Oppo has just launched a new budget-oriented tablet, called the Oppo Pad SE. Priced under the RM1,000 mark, the Pad SE is essentially the most affordable tablet in Oppo’s lineup.

Pre-order for the Oppo Pad SE in Malaysia is open until the 24th of May 2025. By getting yourself a unit during this period, you will get a RM100 rebate, effectively slashing its price to just RM599. Additionally, you can also pick up a casing for the tablet worth RM99 at just RM1.

You can purchase the Oppo Pad SE via Oppo Malaysia’s official website or via the brand’s official Shopee and Lazada stores.

Oppo Pad SE Malaysia: Specs and features

The Oppo Pad SE features an 11″ 1920×1200 IPS LCD display, featuring a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 500 nits. Oppo also mentioned that this panel is equipped with an Anti-Reflective Matte coating that’s said to reduce up to 97% of light interference, creating a paper-like viewing experience.

Powering the Malaysian-spec Oppo Pad SE is MediaTek’s Helio G100 chipset. paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Keeping lights on is a 9,340mAh battery, which is claimed to be capable of providing up to 11 hours of video playback or 80 hours of music listening on a single charge. Charging can be done via its USB-C port with Oppo’s 33W SuperVooc charging technology.

In fact, Oppo says the tablet will still have enough juice to power on even after 800 days of idling. The Oppo Pad SE also comes with a Smart Power Saving Mode that powers off the tablet after seven days of inactivity.

Imaging-wise, the Oppo Pad SE features a single 5MP camera at the front and back. On the software side of things, the tablet runs on Oppo’s ColorOS 15, built atop Android 15, and comes with features such as Google Gemini, AI Assistant for Notes, and the O+ Connect, which allows the Pad SE to send files to Apple devices and even control a Mac.
