Honor has just launched a total of five products here in Malaysia today. Among them are two tablets, namely the Honor Pad V9 and Pad X9a. If the Honor Pad X9a sounds like déjà vu, well, the company launched the WiFi version of the tablet late last month, and has now added a new LTE option.
The Honor Pad V9a, on the other hand, is the brand’s newly launched premium mid-range tablet. With all that said, here’s all you need to know about these tablets.
Honor Pad V9 & X9a Malaysia: Price and availability
Honor Pad V9:

To celebrate the launch of the Honor Pad V9, Honor Malaysia is offering customers free gifts worth up to RM898. This includes an Honor Magic Pencil 3 stylus and an Honor Touchpad Keyboard.
This tablet will be available from the 11th of April onwards. You can get it via Honor’s physical stores, official website, and official e-commerce stores on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop. Additionally, the tablet is available via stores such as Harvey Norman, Senheng, SenQ, and Urban Republic.
Honor Pad X9a:
- WiFI – RM999 (8GB RAM + 128GB storage)
- LTE – RM1,299 (8GB RAM + 256GB storage)
Launched in late March, the WiFi variant is already available nationwide. The LTE variant, on the other hand, will only be made available in Malaysia starting on the 25th of April. Purchasing this tablet will get you free gifts worth up to RM598, including an Honor Smart Keyboard, an Honor Choice Pencil, and a 3-month iQiYi 3-membership subscription, while stocks last.

Honor Pad V9 Malaysia: Specs & features
The Honor Pad V9 features an 11.5″ 2.9K (1800×1840) IPS LCD display that boasts a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. If you’re looking to use this tablet for entertainment consumption, you will be glad to know that it comes with an 8-speaker setup.
Powering the tablet is MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 Elite chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM that can be boosted to 24GB via Honor’s RAM Turbo, along with 256GB of storage. Keeping lights on here is a 10,100mAh battery. As for software, you get Honor’s MagicOS 9.0 skin, built atop Google’s Android 15.
Ah, not to forget, the Honor Pad V9 comes with a 13MP and an 8MP camera at the back and front, respectively. Two colourways are available with the Honor Pad V9 in Malaysia, namely Grey and White.
Honor Pad X9a Malaysia: Specs & features
We’ve covered the specs of the Honor Pad X9a during the launch of the WiFi variant. But just in case you missed it, this tablet comes with an 11.5″ TFT LCD display that boasts a resolution of 2.5K (2508×1504) and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The Pad X9a is also fitted with a set of four speakers.
At the heart of the Honor Pad X9a is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM (expandable to 16GB) and 256GB of storage. Battery-wise, you get an 8,300mAh cell that can handle wired charging at 35W via USB-C.
The Honor X9a runs on Magic 9.0, with Android 15 as its base, and comes with an 8MP camera at the back and a 5MP selfie shooter. There’s only one colour option to choose from, which is Grey.
