Grab users can now redeem ChargEV credits worth RM20 through the Grab Rewards platform. The new promotion which was launched last week, will last until 27 July 2025.
How to redeem the ChargEV credit?
The redemption process is fairly straightforward. To access the listing, go to the Account section of the Grab app and choose Rewards. This will bring you to your personalized Grab Rewards page, which reflects your membership status.
From there, choose the All or Services option in the swipe menu. Then look for the listing that says RM20 ChargEV Credits, tap on it, and select the Redeem button at the bottom part of the screen.
It costs 100 points to redeem the RM20 ChargEV credit if you have a Grab Unlimited membership or 200 points for normal Grab users. Once redemption is completed, the code for the RM20 ChargEV credit will then appear.
Copy that code, open your ChargEV app, and then choose the More option on the bottom section of the app. After that, tap on the Redeem Package option, paste the code, and hit the Continue button.
The Redeem Package page should then appear with the 20 Credits Grab Rewards Voucher shown on the page. Tap on the Redeem Package button and you should then see the Redeemed with 20 CR notice on the following screen.
The RM20 ChargEV credit comes with a catch
According to the promotion’s terms and conditions, the credit is supposedly exclusive to first-time users of the ChargEV app. But as you can tell from these screenshots, we somehow managed to redeem it despite being long-time users of ChargEV.
So, you might want to try your luck. Do note that the RM20 ChargEV Credits listing will disappear from the Grab Rewards in your app once the redemption is successful since each user can only redeem it once.
Don’t panic though, as you still have access to the charging credit code in the My Rewards section. Just make sure you key the code into the ChargEV app before the campaign concludes on 27 July 2025.
