Electric vehicles only cover a tiny portion of the Malaysian automotive market so far, but suspicious entities with dubious intentions may have begun to target the local EV space. It has come to our attention that someone is offering a “membership” that provides unlimited EV charging on public EV chargers operated by several major Charge Point Operators (CPOs).
Chargee+: an offer that is too good to be true?

We first encountered the offering in an EV owner’s WhatsApp group last week. Called Chargee+ (not to be confused with Singapore-based CPO Charge+), the individual who offered it at first claimed that the membership covers 5 CPOs:
- Gentari
- Shell Recharge / ParkEasy
- TNB Electron / Go To-U
- ChargeSini
- EVlution
Subsequent online listings (more on that shortly) also claimed that Chargee+ would cover ChargEV and JomCharge. As for the pricing, the membership is being offered at a very alluring price of RM899 per year.
Naturally, such an attractive offer would attract the attention of the members. Some were curious enough to message the seller to ask for more information about Chargee+ and shared with us what they had learned about the membership.

This is where things get quite fishy: according to the conversation between the group members and Chargee+ “representative”, customers would receive login accounts for every CPO that we mentioned earlier. These accounts already have credit inside them ranging from RM1,000 to RM14,000 depending on the CPO.
So, anytime the customer wants to charge their EV, all they need to do is just log in to the account that corresponds to the CPO of the charger that they are using. If the credit is depleted, the customer just needs to reach out to the seller to have the credit replenished.

To sign up for the Chargee+ membership, customers are asked to transfer the fee to a bank account owned by Fazeyka Solution Sdn Bhd. In a different EV owner’s WhatsApp group, it was revealed that the seller tried to offer the membership at a slightly reduced price of RM799 per year and had omitted Gentari from the list.
The seller is no longer in the WhatsApp group we mentioned earlier but that’s not the end of the story though. For the past few days, a Facebook account under the name Fazry Haikal has offered Chargee+ through various local EV owners’ Facebook groups.

We have also discovered Fazeyka Solution’s Carousell page which not only offers the Chargee+ membership but also the Shell Recharge Gold Plan at just RM490. As a comparison, the plan is currently priced at RM835 per year.
Who is Fazeyka Solution and Fazry Haikal?

When we dug for further information about Fazeyka Solution Sdn Bhd, it led us to the company’s website which claimed that Fazeyka Solutions is a web development outfit. In addition to that, our search also led us to Fazry Haikal’s LinkedIn account which listed him as the “Member Board of Directors” at Fazeyka Solutions.
Interestingly enough, there is an address listed in the Fazeyka Solutions’ so-called TnC section which pointed to a home in the Low Cost Public Housing (PAKR) Banggol Peradong in Kuala Terengganu. A quick search online showed that Fazry has used the address for his other ventures too including Letter F Group and a shared web hosting service called ShiftHost.
CPOs: Such an arrangement does not exist yet

It seems almost impossible that a seemingly random web development company located in the outskirts of Kuala Terengganu is capable of delivering a multi-CPO unlimited EV charging membership. Nevertheless, we have reached out to the representatives of several CPOs mentioned in the listing to get clarifications.
All of them have said the same thing: they don’t have any such arrangement or collaboration at the moment.

According to its terms and conditions, Gentari clearly said that customers should not share their password or allow another person to access their Gentari Go account. Hence, this would prohibit Fazeyka Solutions from using Gentari Go as part of Chargee+.
That being said, we couldn’t locate an identical clause or something of the same nature on other CPOs’ terms and conditions. We will not be surprised if they decide to make some amendments to prevent malevolent individuals or entities from gaming their business operations.

Furthermore, CPOs usually would only allow one EV per account to be charged at a time. So, theoretically, a customer may find themselves not able to charge their vehicle from time to time if another customer is charging using the CPO account provided by Chargee+.
Chargee exists but it is not related to EV charging
![Chargee Sparky P1 dongle](https://soyacincau.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/chargee-sparky-r1-nl01-1024x576.jpg)
As it turns out, Chargee does exist in real life but it is a company based in Eindhoven, Netherlands. While the Dutch outfit is involved in the energy business, it does not focus on EV charging.
Instead, Chargee focused on providing real-time insights on home energy usage. The company’s main product is the Spark P1 dongle that feeds real-time data from a customer’s electrical meter to the Chargee smartphone app.
It is not going to be that easy to pull off a multi-CPO EV charging plan

Truth be told, there would be a major launch event and celebration if someone managed to pull off a multi-CPO unlimited EV charging plan. That’s because it is the pipedream of most EV owners out there.
Look at it this way: even the Gentari Go Power Pass has an annual discount cap of RM2,400. On the other hand, ChargEV has discontinued both its Legacy and Yearly Annual Plan.
So, things are easier said than done. CPO is not an instant money-making business – instead, it requires substantial capital expenditure and the return on investments takes years to happen.

Despite that, it still is a highly competitive industry given the rising popularity of EVs alongside Malaysia’s push towards environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations. Even the landmark partnerships such as the roaming EV charging deal between ChargEV, Gentari, and JomCharge have massive challenges to overcome, and these are the people that have significant resources behind them.
All in all, from all the signs we have seen so far, this multi-brand unlimited EV charging membership offer sounds too good to be true.
