Owners of Proton e.MAS 7 will get to enjoy discounts on charging fees during the upcoming Chinese New Year season. The same privilege also applies to Smart #1 and Smart #3 owners.
e.MAS and Smart charging discount promo to last until 3 February
e.MAS 7 and Smart owners can enjoy the 30% discount starting this coming Friday, 25 January until Monday, 3 February. It is available on all chargers under Pro-Net’s integrated EV charging network which covers these Charge Point Operators (CPO):
To utilise the discount, all e.MAS 7 owners need to do is activate the charging session using the Proton e.MAS app. Likewise, Smart #1 and Smart #3 can take advantage of the discount by using the Hello Smart app to initiate and pay for their charging session.
Integrated charging ecosystem is one of Pro-Net’s biggest strength
During the launch of Proton e.MAS 7 last month, Pro-Net said that more than 1,700 EV chargers are already part of its integrated EV charging ecosystem. This is equivalent to more than 85% of public EV chargers that are available in Malaysia.
They are not just mere location listings as the Pro-Net system is linked directly to the CPOs’ backend which allows e.MAS and Smart owners to receive live data, especially regarding availability.
However, e.MAS and Smart owners are not able to initiate and pay for charging directly from their infotainment system just yet. For charging activation and payment, you still have to rely on the e.MAS or Hello Smart app.
