If you’re in the market for a new smartwatch, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro might be something of interest to you. While yes it might not be the latest wearable from them, the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is still a pretty solid smartwatch and you’ll be able to get it at a 50% discount too.
Samsung Malaysia is organising a health check roadshow at several of their physical outlets throughout Klang Valley this weekend, and as part of the promotion the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro will have a 50% discount on its regular retail price of RM1,599. This means you will be able to snag the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro for just RM799.50. On top of that, after you’ve done your health check at the Samsung Experience Store, your new Galaxy Watch 5 Pro will come with a free OMRON Blood Pressure Monitor worth RM169 too.
The health check and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro promotion will be happening on 15 and 16 June at the following Samsung Experience Stores:
In any case, even if you opt not to purchase the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, those who complete the health check at any of the aforementioned Samsung Experience stores will be able to walk away with a free tote bag and an ice cream treat courtesy of Inside Scoop. Also, if you aren’t able to visit those Samsung Experience Stores this weekend, you’ll still get to enjoy that 50% discount and complimentary blood pressure monitor until 30 June 2024 at selected Samsung Experience Stores and other participating stores.
Of course, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro has its own blood pressure tracking feature already, having been available in Malaysia since early 2023. However, the caveat is that you’ll need to first calibrate the blood pressure tracker on the smartwatch while having a regular cuff-based blood pressure monitor on the other arm. This is perhaps where having the OMRON Blood Pressure Monitor along with the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro comes in handy. You can read more about how to set up the blood pressure tracker on the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro by clicking here.
