Apple will be hosting a special event on Tuesday, 7 May. Based on the teaser that accompanied the announcement, it is quite clear that the event will revolve around iPad and Apple Pencil.
Rumours are pointing to M3-based iPad Pro and iPad Air
If you have been following the Apple rumour mill, then you may have heard that the Cupertino giant is apparently working on a new iPad Pro. The new model is expected to feature a new OLED display as well as the Apple M3 processor which is currently being used on MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and iMac.
It was also rumoured that both the 11 and 12.9-inch variants of the tablet will come with the new OLED display. In addition to that, it has also been rumoured that Apple will come out with a new version of the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil alongside the new M3-powered iPad Pro.
Meanwhile, there will be a new iPad Air too. Interestingly, it has been claimed that the tablet is not only powered by the M3 chip but will also come with a 12.9-inch display which is the biggest screen that has ever fitted on this particular model.
Prominent Apple-focused journalist, Mark Gurman of Bloomberg has previously said that these new iPads were supposed to be launched much earlier. However, Apple decided to delay the release to finish up its work on the software for them.
If you are planning to tune in to the event, you can catch it on Apple’s official website at 10:00 PM Malaysian time on 7 May.
