Besides revising its home fibre broadband plans, Time has also revamped its Pakej MyKabel which is meant for residents in public housing developments. Under the program, eligible subscribers can now enjoy 200Mbps fibre broadband for only RM69/month.
Time’s Pakej MyKabel program was introduced last year to support the government’s Pakej Perpaduan Jalur Lebar Tetap initiative to help provide affordable broadband for lower income groups (B40), veterans, people with disabilities (OKU) and senior citizens. While most providers offered 30Mbps fibre broadband for RM69/month, Time provided higher speeds of 100Mbps for RM69/month.
With the latest speed bump to 200Mbps, users can now enjoy double the speed at no extra cost.
Take note that this Pakej MyKabel is only available at selected locations. They have provided a list of Program Perumahan Rakyat (PPR) and public housing that eligible for the campaign.
According to Time’s website, the promotion is valid until 31st December 2024 and you’ll have to sign up within the promo period and activate the service within 2 months of sign up. Essentially, eligible subscribers under the campaign will enjoy RM30 off for the 200Mbps plan and RM20 off for 600Mbps and 1Gbps plans, for 24 months. This means eligible subscribers can enjoy 600Mbps for RM119/month under the campaign.
