Ramadan is almost here, and in conjunction with the holy month CelcomDigi is introducing a pair of internet passes to their users. Just like their previous 5G prepaid plan, the two plans differ in that one offers ‘unlimited’ mobile data while the other offers users a large mobile quota instead. Available from 12 March till 13 May 2024, you’ll be able to purchase them via the Celcom Life and MyDigi apps once they’re available.
CelcomDigi Sahur Pass
As its name implies, the Sahur Pass offers users a generous 444GB of 5G and 4G mobile data from 3am to 9am daily. Priced at RM7, the Sahur Pass is valid for 7 days and is available for all CelcomDigi customers. Considering the large amount of data provided, it would make a decent option for those of you awake early for sahur and wish to video call your loved ones or to stream content to watch while eating.
Unfortunately, at time of writing CelcomDigi has not yet updated their website with the full terms and conditions of the Sahur Pass, so you’ll have to wait till the 12th of March to know more about it such as if there’s any speed cap or restrictions.
CelcomDigi Moreh Pass
Meanwhile, the CelcomDigi Moreh Pass offers unlimited 5G mobile connectivity every evening from 9pm to 3am daily. Also priced at RM7 for 7 days of unlimited data, the Moreh Pass will be exclusively available to their Celcom Prepaid and CelcomDigi Prepaid 5G Edisi Biru subscribers only. Just like the aforementioned Sahur Pass though, CelcomDigi has yet to fully publicise the terms and conditions of the Moreh Pass, so we’ll have to wait till the 12th to know what restrictions there are such as a speed cap.
