Anker Prime power banks available soon in Malaysia, can charge up to 250W

Anker Malaysia has officially announced its Anker Prime range of power banks for customers in Malaysia. It consists of a range of power banks that come in several capacities – from 130W all the way to 250W. There is even a hybrid power bank/charger in the mix.

  • Anker Prime 12,000mAh Power Bank 130W – RM599

Anker Prime power banks – 130W, 140W, 200W, 250W

The Anker Prime power banks come in several models, with different capacities and charging capabilities. What is similar between the models is the design – each model has an on-board screen to show the status of the power bank. The power banks are also connected – you can connect each power bank to your smartphone via Bluetooth and it can be monitored remotely via the Anker app.

Anker Prime 27,650 mAh 250W

The model with the biggest capacity is the Anker Prime 27,650 mAh 250W model. The power bank is unfortunately not flight-friendly as it is past the maximum battery capacity stipulated by most airlines (27,000 mAh or 100Wh). That high capacity means it can charge two devices at 100W simultaneously. For a single port output, it can go up to 140W max, so you can easily charge a MacBook Pro 16” to 50% in about 28 minutes.

Anker Prime 12,000mAh 130W

For those looking for a power bank that can be brought onto flights, the Anker Prime 20,000 mAh 200W is your best choice. Like the bigger model, it can support dual 100W charging at the same time, and it can be charged with a 100W charger when the battery runs out.

The Anker Prime 12,000mAh 130W is the smallest model in the lineup, but it can still output to two devices at 65W simultaneously.

Anker Prime 733 Power Bank

For those looking for a hybrid setup, the Anker Prime 733 Power Bank should be up your alley. It is both a 10,000 mAh power bank and a 65W GaN charger. In power bank mode, it only outputs a maximum of 30W.

This is great for those looking to consolidate their bag, to reduce the number of items they need to bring around when they are out and about. The Anker Prime 733 does not have a screen for status monitoring, only status LED lights.

Anker 100W Charging Base

Lastly, there is the Anker 100W Charging Base. It is the best charger for the Anker Prime power banks as it combines a 3-port charger (2 x USB C + 1 x USB A) and a set of POGO pins on the top. This is to charge the Anker Prime power banks without using any wires for up to 100W. The Charging Base can charge up to four devices at the same time (including the power bank).
