Gentari migrates membership plan from JomCharge to Gentari Go, offers 1-month extension

Following the launch of Gentari Go, the Petronas green energy company has started migrating its Gentari Membership plan from JomCharge to the new app. The Annual Membership plan which costs RM899 per annum allows members to enjoy 50% off on all EV chargers on the Gentari EV charging network.

Gentari Go app now available on Apple App Store and Google Play

Gentari has started contacting existing Membership Plan holders about migrating from JomCharge to the new Gentari Go app, which is available on Google Play and Apple App Store. According to their email, the migration ensures continued access to the 50% off at all Gentari available chargers nationwide and the membership period remains valid for 1 year from the activation date.

As a token of appreciation for your continued support, Gentari is offering an additional one-month extension to your membership validity date based on your activation date at the Gentari Go platform only.

To migrate your plan from JomCharge to Gentari Go, users will need to download and sign up for the Gentari Go account using the same email and mobile number that was used for the Gentari membership plan. Once that’s done, you’ll have to reply to their email and attach a screenshot of your profile ID.

According to the email from Gentari, the membership plan will be activated on Gentari Go within the next 24 hours. For a smooth transition, you can still utilise your membership plan via JomCharge app until 31st March 2024 at 5pm.

Gentari Go QR code

With Gentari Go, users can activate the EV chargers by scanning a QR code and we’ve spotted the new stickers on their existing chargers as shown above. Meanwhile, for users who are still using JomCharge, you’ll have to refer to the 6-digit code that’s printed on the QR code.
