At CES 2024, Asus announced a refreshed Zenbook Duo 2024 model. Instead of the one and a half OLED screen like we saw in the Zenbook Duo 15 2023, the machine now sports a dual 14-inch display that Asus managed into an ultra-thin machine. The new Zenbook Duo comes complete with modern laptop innards, a big battery and even a full size keyboard and trackpad that can be charged without wires.
Asus Zenbook Duo Specs and Features
The update, or refresh of the Duo sees the model goes on a different tangent as the increased the size of the second display to a full sized one. Hence you get dual 14-inch 3K 120Hz OLED touchscreens which combined, gives you about 19.8-inches of working space. Better yet, Asus included a built-in kickstand that props up the whole device so that you can get a stacked workspace, with two horizontal display on top of another. You can also prop it up like a book and use it that way.
The two displays are Dolby Vision certified and Pantone Validated, so it is work ready and can reproduce 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
Inside, the laptop features Intel’s latest Intel Core Ultra 7 or Ultra 9 H-series, with up to 32GB of RAM and up to 1TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD. This means the Zenbook Duo can easily be your workstation and your gaming machine, thanks to the Intel Arc graphics built in.
There are no power consumption reports yet (duh) but the 75Whr battery at least will be a good indication that you should get good battery life on a single charge, provided you use only one screen at a time.
Asus is expected to ship the Zenbook Duo2024 sometime in Q1 of this year and will be pricing the device starting from $1,599 (about RM 7,420).
