Sharge, the makers of cool-looking transparent power banks added a new model to its lineup. The Shargeek 170 follows the previously launched Shargeek 100 and 130 by offering high-capacity power in an interesting and cool-looking case, unlike the rest of the market.

The new Shargeek 170 features a pentahedral shape as opposed to the traditional blocky power bank form factor. According to Sharge, the new power bank case is inspired by Pink Floyd’s song Dark Side of the Moon.

Shargeek 170 Malaysia Features

What you get with the new power bank is up to 170W total power output out from the 24,000mAh batteries (which Sharge claims to be “EV-grade”) or about 86.4Wh of power. That is enough to be under the threshold of most airline’s battery capacity limit. According to Sharge, that capacity is enough to do up to 800 charges in a single day, for devices ranging from laptops, portable gaming devices, drones and even cameras.

The Shargeek 170 features two USB-C ports and a USB-A port to charge up to three devices at the same time. The USB-C port can output up to 140W while the USB-A can go up to 30W. There is also a low-current mode to charge your smart watches or earbuds without frying the circuitry. The Shargeek 170 also supports pass-through charging so that you can charge it while charging your devices.

Sharge claims the Shargeek 170 is “fireproof” and “waterproof” for extra durability. It comes rated as IP66 for water and dust resistance, so it can survive water spills on it with no problem. Additionally, there are protections built into the Shargeek 170, which includes Over-current Protection, Over-voltage Protection, Overload Protection, Under-voltage Protection, Overheat Protection and Short-circuit Protection.

Shargeek 170 Malaysia Pricing

You can own the Shargeek 170 for yourself for RM1,299 and it is going to be available from the official Sharge Malaysia website and official Shopee store from 25 December onwards.

Sharge will also be throwing in some free gifts with purchases of the Shargeek 170. You will get a 140W charger, the Shargeek Phantom USB-C to USB-C cable (while stocks lasts) and a Retro USB-C to Lightning cable – all worth RM657. The free gifts are exclusively for purchases made between 25 December and 15 January only.
