Find N3 and Find N3 Flip notable features
The Find N3 Flip is the latest flip-type smartphone from Oppo. The phone looks almost the same as the Find N2 Flip, but with a few major updates. The first is the new Mediatek Dimensity 9200 chip, and the second is the introduction of three cameras on the N3 Flip – a first in a flip-style foldable.
Otherwise, the phone carries over the best parts of the previous model – a large 6.8-inch internal AMOLED screen with LPTO technology, gap-less folding form and a big 4,300 mAh battery with SuperVOOC fast charging support (44W!). The competition can only do half of that fast charging speed.
You do get an updated Flexion hinge with new materials, as well as more RAM out of the box – this time 12GB with extended RAM support. Unfortunately the phone doesn’t have any official IP water or dust resistance so beach trips will need to be a careful endeavour.
The phone is a good update from the previous generation (which was launched only earlier this year in Malaysia!). Check out our early hands-on right here.
The second model launched was the Find N3. The upgrade to the Find N2 (which did not see any global releases), the new book-type foldable by Oppo will now be available for the global market with this launch.
The inner screen is a 7.8-inch AMOLED display while the cover screen is a 6.3-inch AMOLED display. You now get the cover screen with a 20:9 aspect ratio so when the phone is folded, it is as big as most standard candy bar phones in the market.
Powering everything is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, so you can be assured the phone has enough processing power to run even the most demanding app or game on the phone. It is paired with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Oppo said you can run up to 40 apps in the background.
For power, Oppo fitted the Find N3 with a large 4,800mAh battery and 67W SuperVOOC fast charging.
The Find N3 is also a triple-camera smartphone, with a main 48MP camera, an ultrawide 48MP camera and a 32MP 3x telephoto camera.
For those worried about dust creeping into the gap between the screen – it is designed with no gaps. However, there is no official dust or water-resistant rating given to the Find N3, just like the N3 Flip.
