Sony Merdeka Sale: RM220 off for PlayStation 5, discounted games as low as RM39

If you’ve been put off from getting yourself a Sony PlayStation 5 back when it launched due to the scalpers and supply constraints, Sony Malaysia is now having a Merdeka Sale where you can find their consoles, games and accessories on sale.

The biggest deal here is perhaps the PlayStation 5 Disc version, which is down to RM2,279 from its usual recommended retail price of RM2,499. Meanwhile, if you want the console as well as the recently launched Final Fantasy XVI, the special edition PlayStation 5 Final Fantasy XVI bundle will also be on sale for just RM2,549, down from its original price of RM2,769. This is the bundle packing the disc version of the console, and comes with the PlaySation 5, a DualSense Wireless controller and a voucher for Final Fantasy XVI which you can use to get the game.

On top of that, you’ll also find some of the most popular games for both the PlayStation 5 and the PlayStation 4 on sale from as low as RM39. These include God of War, God of War Ragnarok, Horizon Forbidden West and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Lastly, if you need a gaming headset to go along with your console, you can also find the Sony Pulse 3D wireless headsets on sale at RM419.

The Sony Merdeka promotion begins on 18 August and will last till Merdeka Day itself. There are some terms and conditions to take note of though, such as each customer is only able to purchase one offer per transaction, and that the offer will only last while stocks last.
