Netflix is finally available on the Unifi Plus Box, here’s how to get it

Last month, Unifi had announced a partnership with Netflix that sees the streaming platform come to the former’s Unifi TV service. However, despite Netflix landing onto Unifi TV in late June, it wouldn’t be until now that the Netflix app itself is available on the Unifi Plus Box that’s hooked up to your TV.

According to Unifi, the Netflix app is now finally on the Unifi Plus Box, meaning you won’t have to settle for the small screen on your smartphone or tablet anymore to watch your Netflix series. To recap, Netflix is included at no extra cost for all subscribers of Unifi’s new Ultimate Plus and Ultimate Max Unifi TV pack priced at RM69.90/month and RM89.90/month, with the promotional offer ending on 23 September; after that it will be priced at RM99.90/month and RM129.90/month respectively.

Ultimate Plus users will get Netflix Basic (720p) while Ultimate Max users will get Netflix Standard (1080p), though you can upgrade up to a Netflix Premium account for a fee too.

If you aren’t seeing the Netflix app on your Unifi Plus Box, you may need to first update it. You can do so either by clicking on the pop-up notification if it appears, or manually doing so by heading to the Setting page, clicking on Device Preference followed by About and lastly System Update.
