If the Honor 90 with its 200MP main camera and RM1,799 price tag seems like too much for yourself, then Honor has also launched its budget-friendly, the Honor 90 Lite. Despite being significantly cheaper though, the Honor 90 Lite still manages to pack in a 100MP main camera on the back.
Honor 90 Lite Malaysia pricing and availability
The Honor 90 Lite just like its more upmarket sibling will be going on sale on 22 July onwards, with just one configuration available packing 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage priced at RM1,099.
Honor will also throw in free gifts worth up to RM258, which include the Honor Choice Earbuds X3 Lite and a free year of extended warranty, while stocks last. For those who get the Honor 90 Lite on its launch day on 22 July, you’ll also be able to get RM50 in Touch ‘n Go eWallet credit in Peninsular Malaysia while East Malaysians can snag RM50 of Boost eWallet credit instead.
Honor 90 Lite specs
The Honor 90 Lite features a large 6.7-inch display pushing an FHD+ resolution as well as a 90Hz refresh rate. Unfortunately it’s only an LCD panel and not an AMOLED one, though Honor is still claiming a JNCD < 1 screen-by-screen colour temperature calibration, along with dynamic dimming features to be easier on your eyes.
Under the hood meanwhile, the Honor 90 Lite has a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 system-on-chip, mated to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It comes with Android 13 out of the box, skinned with MagicOS 7.1 over it.
In the camera department, the Honor 90 Lite has a 100MP, f/1.9 main camera flanked by a 5MP, f/2.2 ultrawide shooter along with a 2MP, f/2.4 macro sensor. In front meanwhile you’ll find a 16MP, f/2.45 front facing camera for your selfie needs.
Other features of note include a 4,500mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor as well as support for 5G, NFC, Bluetooth 5.3 and WiFi 5 wireless connectivity. Weighing in at 179g and measuring 7.48mm thick, the Honor 90 Lite will be available in Cyan Lake and Midnight Black.
