During the grand launch of EnrichMoney prepaid card, Malaysia Airlines announced an EnrichMoney x Elite Status campaign which allows all active Enrich Members to fast-track their elite status to Silver or Gold. All they need to do is to convert their Enrich Points to EnrichMoney Points from the app. Despite not having a promo page on their website, we now have more details on promo as Malaysia Airlines has provided us with the terms and conditions.

According to Malaysia Airlines in their initial announcement, cardholders who top up 40,000 points can get upgraded to Enrich Silver status and 80,000 points to Enrich Gold Status. A higher Enrich status provides more travel benefits including priority check-in, priority boarding, extra baggage allowance and even access to Malaysia Airlines Golden Lounge regardless of your class of travel.

Take note that EnrichMoney Points is a reward system for EnrichMoney Visa Prepaid card that allows cardholders to redeem cashback after a qualifying transaction is made.

How to fast-track to Enrich Silver and Enrich Gold?

The EnrichMoney x Elite Status campaign is running from 19th June to 31st July 2023. The campaign is available on the EnrichMoney mobile app which you can download on both Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

To upgrade your current Enrich Elite Status to Silver, you’ll need to top-up a minimum cumulative 40,000 Enrich Points to EnrichMoney Points. To fast-track to Enrich Gold, you’ll need to top-up a minimum cumulative 80,000 Enrich Points to EnrichMoney Points. If you are already an existing Enrich Silver status member, you are still required to top-up 80,000 Enrich Points to upgrade to Gold.

According to the terms and conditions, each top-up requires the EnrichMoney Cardholder to log on and authenticate their own Enrich account via the EnrichMoney app. Top-ups from Enrich Point to EnrichMoney Point must be done from the same legal owner of both accounts and this means you can’t top-up points from another Enrich member account.

The EnrichMoney app allows a maximum of 50,000 EnrichMoney Points top-up per transaction and there’s also a daily limit of 100,000 EnrichMoney Points top-up per day.

[ UPDATE 1/07/2023 ] Malaysia Airlines have published its promo page explaining its Elite Status Fast Track promo.

Enrich Elite status is awarded within 14 days after the promotion ends

After fulfilling the Enrich Point top-up requirements, the upgraded Enrich Elite Status will be awarded within 14 days after the promotion ends. This means you would only get your upgraded Elite status sometime in August after the campaign ends on 31st July 2023. The new Enrich Elite card will be delivered to your registered address within 14 days and members can also access the Enrich Elite status by logging into Enrich Online on the web or through the Malaysia Airlines app.

The Enrich Elite Status is non-transferable and no Elite Points will be credited for the award. If your ‘awarded’ Elite status is the same as your current Elite Status, there will be no upgrade to the next higher status.

Validity of Enrich Elite Status and EnrichMoney Points

The terms & conditions state that the Enrich Elite Status and its benefits shall be valid until 31st December 2024, unless stated otherwise. To continue the status, members can requalify or upgrade to a higher status based on the current standard requalification requirements.

Meanwhile, the EnrichMoney Points earned shall be valid for one year. Expired EnrichMoney Points will not be extended. To learn more, you can refer to the terms and conditions below:

To recap, EnrichMoney is a Visa Prepaid card that’s powered by Merchantrade Asia Sdn Bhd. It offers a multi-currency wallet which allows you to exchange and store up to 20 different currencies. For new sign-ups, you’ll need to make a minimum top-up of RM100 and a total of RM40 will be deducted for card issuance, annual fee and for a refundable RM20 deposit. As part of its introductory promo, they are offering 1,000 Bonus Enrich Points and one free Malaysia Airlines Golden Lounges access for new registrations.

You can learn more on the EnrichMoney’s website.
